How much will it cost?
Our goal from the beginning has been to create a watch that delivers exceptional design, craftsmanship, and originality at an attainable price. We are targeting a retail price of under $2,000 USD. To celebrate our launch, we'll be offering a limited number of watches through a Kickstarter campaign scheduled for mid-June 2026. Early supporters will have access to special pre-order pricing, with savings of approximately 30% off the future retail price.
Is this a limited production?
Yes. Our first production run is limited to 500 watches, but only about 400 will be available for purchase. The remaining pieces will be reserved specifically for warranty service, replacement parts, and long-term customer support. We want to be overly cautious and ensure we take care of our customers if anything happens within the warranty period. The inaugural release will be offered in two dial colors: Eggshell White and Slate Black. Once these editions are sold out, they will be permanently retired and will never be produced again. Future production runs will depend entirely on demand. If we move forward with additional releases, they will feature new dial colors and will be produced in similarly limited quantities. We believe each release should remain special, so we have no plans to exceed two or three total production runs for this model. In short... when a color sells out, it's gone for good.

How can I buy one?
Our first release will debut exclusively on Kickstarter in June 2026, where approximately 200 watches will be available at a special launch price - about 30% below retail. If the campaign is successfully funded, the remaining 200 watches from the first production run will be offered through our website at full retail price. Availability will be limited. For the best price and the greatest chance of securing your preferred color dial, we recommend joining us on Kickstarter when the campaign launches.
How do you say the brand name?
S. BYON is pronounced “bee-ahn.” The name comes from our founder’s Korean name - “S.” for Song and “BYON” from the family name - creating a brand identity rooted in personal heritage. Our signature logo continues that story with a stylized “S” inspired by a musical symbol.
